Yaaaay it's my Birthday
As of today, I am now 22 years. I swear last year went by so damn quickly lol. Though at this point not sure I really feel a difference in my age lol. I'll probably feel it later down the line lol Hope everyone is doing well. ^^
Debating on what to do now with this account
So it's probably obvious to everyone, that I've lost alot of heart with the site ever since the layout was changed. Just doesn't feel the DeviantArt I used for the first 4 years I was here. The last 2 years have just been......well......depressing. I've tried to give this layout a chance, but I just can't. I've tried to make it work. But it's such a ridiculous set up. The original layout I managed to figure out within a few months of being on here back when I joined. This new one, been a year and I still dunno are dislike certain things. Now the question is "where do I go from here?". I mean my last upload was back in February. I lost alot of motivation with this site ever since the change. I still draw here and there, but no where near as much as before the change. So yeah, it's on the fence as to what to do from here.....
Future of this Account.
So....yeah.....I, like so many of you...and many more, are both disgusted and appalled by DA staffs decision to completely overhaul the original layout despite how many people protested against it. I didn't think this site could damage it's reputation any more. But they managed to find a way..... of all the people you dont want to piss off...it's the users whom keep this site going. But it's safe to say as of the 20th, the Staff have more or less destroyed the bridge between them and their users......it's depressing honestly..... So what does this mean for me? .......I dont know. Alot of my friends have left the site already, I feel very Alone now.....like more than ever..... (it's probably from RL issues....but still...this is playing a massive role in it)......it's honestly depressing....... I wont be removing this account I promise....since this is where I more or less started my path to being an artist. I'll still be here, uploading, writing, drawing, etc. But yeah.....my
Last day of the REAL deviantart (plus petition)
Tomorrow will be the day DA staff throw away this layout in favor of something new and edgy, that only THEY want.
Hundreds upon thousands of users have complained to the staff about how poor this new layout is, and they just flat out ignore us just because "gotta look like other art sites".
If you ever wanted an example of why so many people say the DA staff are just useless and not helpful, tomorrow is gonna be the best example.
I'm gonna desperately miss this layout.....I'm praying they'll leave it as is, and just get rid of this stupid eclipse....
